Beginning

Beginning with a quote has always seemed like a good way to break the ice in any genre of writing--blogging now having become its own genre. So with a quote I begin:

"For the correct analogy for the mind is not a vessel that needs filling, but wood that needs igniting...and then it motivates one towards originality and instills the desire for truth."

I have no illusions of grandeur in regards to anyone actually reading these posts, but if you have happened to stumble across this, feel free to inquire about any opinion, topic, or current event, and perhaps that will lead me to my next post.
